ARTSGALA—it’s considered to be one of the premier arts events in the Dayton area! The highlight of Wright State’s arts season, ARTSGALA is a well-established evening of top-notch entertainment and activities showcasing the talents of our students in art, music, theatre, dance, and motion pictures. In the past fourteen years this event has raised over $1.6 million in scholarship funding for arts students, while providing a magical evening for over 600 patrons annually.

The popular black tie optional event features a variety of entertainment, fine dining, and a magnificent silent auction. From Broadway revues and musical ensembles to live sculpting and painting, the program talent leaves those attending spellbound over the excellence of the students.

Features include:

  • Live performances to accompany themed culinary delights in our five dining rooms
  • Wine tasting featuring high-priced, top-quality wines
  • Opening Wind Symphony, featuring Stars and Stripes Forever
  • Dancing for Students and Patrons
  • Broadway production
  • Thesis Exhibition 2014 featuring artwork by Wright State Art Majors
  • Student film festival
  • Chamber orchestra and dance performance
  • Cigar and sports tent
  • Martini Lounge
  • Silent Auction with over 100 impressive items
