Christopher T. Vincent, CFA®

Christopher Vincent is the head of William Blair’s fixed income team and a portfolio manager for the firm’s fixed income strategies. In this role, Vincent is a portfolio manager for the firm’s core fixed income, intermediate fixed iIncome, low duration fixed income, and ready reserves strategies. Prior to joining William Blair in 2002, he was a portfolio manager at Kemper Financial Services (and its successor firms) in Chicago for 14 years. In that role, he managed core and core plus fixed income portfolios for institutional clients. He began his investment career in 1983 as a pension plan sponsor at Ralston Purina, a Fortune-100 company headquartered in St. Louis.

Vincent is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago, where he is actively involved in the leadership of the organizations. He is the former chairman of the CFA Society of Chicago’s board of directors for the board’s 2014–15 fiscal years. In the past, Vincent has served on the CFA Institute’s annual conference advisory group and has served as vice chair and secretary/treasurer for the CFA Society of Chicago’s board of directors. He was educated at the University of Missouri for his undergraduate degree and received his M.B.A. from Saint Louis University.
