Homecoming Festival 2017
September 30th from 4:30pm to 7:00pm
On behalf of the Homecoming Festival Committee, thank you for showing interest in participating in one of our Wright State University Homecoming events that hosts thousands of participants annually! This application process was developed to support the ever-growing interest in engaging more alumni and students at the Homecoming Festival.
Homecoming Festival Committee Goals
Many student, alumni, and campus partners plan the festival annually. The Homecoming Festival Committee aims to create a coordinated university wide effort to engage students, alumni, and the Wright State community in the Homecoming Festival to celebrate our past, present, and future while increasing spirit and pride for Wright State.
Activities planned for the Homecoming Festival should meet the following criteria:
- Showcase Wright State heritage
- Welcome alumni back to campus
- Bring students and alumni together
- Increase Wright State spirit and pride
The Homecoming Festival Committee will choose the activities to be included at the Homecoming Festival. This application must be completed and submitted to the Homecoming Festival Committee before any space will be reserved at the festival. Your application will be reviewed by the Homecoming Festival Committee.
Selection will be based upon the following criteria:
- Availability of time/space within the existing activities
- Degree to which the activity supports the Homecoming goals
- Degree to which the activity engages both students and alumni
First-consideration date for space is August 9th, 2017; second-consideration date is September 1st, 2017. You do not have to have an activity fully planned out to submit this form, as long as you can answer questions 2-6 at the time of submission.
