Upper Valley Medical Center—Pamela Homan

Pamela has worked all her 13 years as a Registered Nurse at Upper Valley Medical Center, where she is currently a staff nurse in the Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. She is a great team player who has a kind heart and a fantastic sense of humor. With her smile and infectious laugh, she provides hands-on care along with compassion and encouragement. Her patients and their families always praise her dedication to rehabilitation nursing. She ensures that the patient and family are educated about the rehabilitation process and receive appropriate teaching before discharge. Her co-workers frequently look to her for rehabilitation knowledge and advice. Physicians respect Pamela for her clinical knowledge and skills and for being a great team player as well as a patient advocate. Pamela received her Associate of Science in Nursing degree from the Kettering College of Medical Arts and is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse. At Upper Valley, she has received the Daisy Award and the Employee of the Month Award.
