Judie Campbell has been a nurse for almost 40 years. While her passion is cardiac, she has dedicated the past several years to trauma. But no matter where her home is, Judie shares 100 percent of herself with patients, families, and peers. Judie is our go-to person when it comes to new grads because we know she will ensure their success. Every. Single. Time. There is no doubt that a few young nurses would have hung up their nursing caps very early on if it wasn’t for Judie’s love and support. What is it about her that makes her so special? The patients and families say it best. One patient stated, “When Judie walked into the room, she was calmness in a storm. I knew everything was going to be okay.” A family member shared, “It’s not every day that you get to be in the presence of an angel. From the first time we met her, we knew that she would be unlike any other nurse. She provided care like he was her own.
