Atrium Medical Center—Christa Duff

Christa Duff has been a Registered Nurse for four years and has worked at Atrium Medical Center for eight years. For the past two years, she has worked in the Perioperative Services/Operating Room Unit. Her co-workers call Christa a great team player who helps with on-call needs, assisting in other rooms, and volunteering for unit projects. In the short time she has been in the Perioperative Services Unit, she has developed a reputation as being “remarkable” and “a model employee” with her nursing peers, surgeons, patients, and their families. She displays a special drive and motivation to improve the unit. As a bedside nurse, Christa has taken her patient training to heart and goes beyond what is expected in caring for her patients. Christa received her associate degree from Miami University and expects to receive her BSN in 2015 from Ohio University.
