The Women's Center: Who, What, When

This training is offered by appointment and lasts 30-45 minutes. It will introduce the Women's Center to you and explore the services and opportunities provided by the center.

Demystifying the 'F' Word—Feminism

This training is offered by appointment and lasts one hour. We'll introduce you to feminism and some ways it is interpreted, including the myths that surround the term. It provides an opportunity for people to examine their own beliefs around feminism and compare them to those of other participants' thoughts.

Sex Positivity/Empowered Sexuality

This workshop is offered by appointment and lasts one hour. We focus on creating positive relationships related to sex. Participants will explore what works for them related to self-image, communication, consent, and establishing boundaries.

Family-Friendly Campuses: How Are We Supporting Our Student Parents?

This workshop is offered by appointment and lasts one hour. The additional challenge of providing for and taking care of children adds to the already stressful existence of being a college student. This workshop discusses the specific resources that colleges can contribute to ease these challenges and share some successful resources available at Wright State and the community.

Womxn and Wellness

This training lasts 45 minutes to one year and offers an opportunity to learn the proper ways to take care of yourself and lead a well-balanced life. It will cover various dimensions of wellness and how those are connected to student success.

Intimate Partner/Domestic Violence Awareness

This workshop is offered in October by appointment and lasts 45 minutes to an hour. This workshop raises awareness during Intimate Partner/Domestic Violence Awareness Month and explores this violence from an intersectional perspective. This workshop outlines ways to safely intervene when there is an awareness of intimate partner/domestic violence and provides information on campus- and community-based resources.

Stalking Awareness

This training is offered in January and lasts 45 minutes to an hour. This workshop explores the dynamics of stalking and its implications for National Stalking Awareness Month. This workshop will outline ways to safely intervene when there is an awareness of stalking and provides information about campus- and community-based resources.

Healthy Relationships

This training lasts from 45 minutes to an hour and explores what a healthy relationship looks like by helping you recognize and define qualities of a healthy relationship, including consent. This workshop also explores what it means to have boundaries in a relationship and how to develop a personal definition of trust.

Sexual Assault Awareness

This training is offered in April by appointment to raise awareness during Sexual Assault Awareness Month and lasts from 45 minutes to an hour. This presentation explores the incidence of sexual assault on college campuses from an intersectional perspective, discusses consent, and provides information about campus- and community-based resources.
