"My name is Kearstyn Bowen and I use she/her pronouns. I am currently a sophomore majoring in French and minoring in Philosophy. My dream is to teach English in France one day!

Receiving this scholarship means the world to me. The past year as the Vice President of Rainbow Alliance has been so eye opening and so very rewarding. To have been chosen to receive this scholarship solidifies in my heart, even more, how much I love being involved in this community, and motivates me to continue leading alongside my peers in the community. I would like to say a huge thank you to the rest of the Rainbow e-board for constantly cheering me on, Petey Peterson and Emily Yantis for being wonderful mentors and possibility models, and the scholarship review comity for considering me.
