Autonomy Technology Research (ATR) Center Summer Program

How To Join Us For Summer

The Summer 2023 program will host interns from 8-May through 11-August with the Summer Review scheduled for the week of 7-August. In-person participation at Wright State University facilities is expected. On-campus housing and a round-trip travel allowance is complimentary for interns. 

Compensation ranges begin at $560/week for HS graduates, $640/week for undergraduates, $900/week for graduate students; this in addition to housing and travel allowances for non-local interns.

Be sure to specify your anticipated START DATE and END DATE in the application email.

The expertise/experience list should be a brief but comprehensive collection of acquired skills in: languages, environments, designs, internships, independent investigations, competitions such as the following: 

  • Programming skills & Language proficiencies
  • Research projects (more open ended) or Coding and Implementation
  • Any previous internships (Industry or DoD)
  • Preferred learning style (reference material)
  • Hold Clearance?
  • Any Special Needs?
  • Strong preference or more open to any project (not strong preference)

If you have a preference for mentor/project assignment please indicate such in a separate email to fred.garber@wright.edu.

We will act on application submissions and communicate matching decisions as soon as possible.  At a future date, you will also be asked to execute the administrative task of responding to a job posting when it becomes available through a collaboration of the University of Dayton and Wright State University.
