Why Wright State
Being from a relatively small town, I knew I wanted to go to a university that could feel something like home. I thought Wright State had the best college of business and it was one of the least expensive colleges on my list!
How has life changed since starting at Wright State
Since my freshman year I have tried to stay involved on campus with different organizations, programs, and hobbies. Through these activities I have been able to build lifelong relationships that truly created a great college experience. They have also opened the door for me to be able to step into leadership roles.
A little advice
For potential Raiders, I would say know your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to deciding on a major. Knowing what you are good at will help you decide on a career path.
A Few of My favorite things
My favorite spot on campus is the Student Union. There is so much to do in one building! You can eat, rock climb, play basketball, swim and workout all from the Union!
One of my favorite classes has been Principles of Marketing. The professor used a lot of real-world examples and experiences. My other favorite class has been The African American Experience. As a black student, it was refreshing to learn about African American history and hear from a professor who can resonate with the experiences of African American students. It was a truly great learning experience.
