Africare - Africare is a non-profit private,
volunteer organization which focuses on development in Africa. Dr.
Yvonne Seon served as a member of the Board of Directors of Africare
from 1977 to 2001, and as Vice-Chairman of the Board from 2002-2004.
Africare has development program in twenty-six nations of Africa for
integrated rural development, provision of safe water, and targeting
HIV-AIDS and malaria, with an annual budget of over 30 million
