You have found Lake Michigan Maritime Marginalia, a website devoted to the arcane of Lake Michigan's maritime history. Approximately every four to six weeks a new issue appears, copiously illustrated and recounting in comprehensive detail some obscure aspect of the lake's commercial navigation heritage. This site, best viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer, emanates from a server at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, USA, where I, its creator, am a faculty member. No portion of this site can be reproduced or disseminated in any form without the expressed consent of myself and Wright State University.
