I am Anoop Vasu, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Wright State University (WSU). I am currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ohio Center of Excellence for Product Reliability and Optimization (CEPRO).

Before coming to WSU, I received my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, India, in 2006. I worked as an executive engineer for Larsen & Toubro in its Machinery and Industrial Products Department from 2006 to 2008. I obtained my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Dayton, in 2009.

Over the past three years at Wright State University, I have been working in the areas of Computational Mechanics, Fatigue, and Design Optimization. After the completion of my Ph.D. studies, I would like to seek employment in the industry to put my skills into practical use and further my research interests.
