My research aims to understand the nature of bryozoans living in fresh
water. These unique invertebrate animals are common worldwide in every kind of
freshwater habitat—yet we still know little about them. Many basic features
of their ecology, physiology, reproduction, development,
and systematics require a great deal more study.
