100% - A - 88% - B - 75% - C - 62% - D - 50% - F - 0%

* Remember to add one to your raw score on the second exam

What do I need on the third hourly to get a grade of X?

Desired final percentage (maximum = 100)
Needed total score = desired final percentage x 4.5 (maximum = 450)
(Score on first hourly exam) x 5 (maximum = 100)
(Score on second hourly exam*) x 5 (maximum = 100)
Score on weekly assignments expressed as a percentage (maximum = 100)
Recitation score (maximum = 50)
Needed percentage score = line #2 - line #3 - line #4 - line #5 - line #6 (maximum possible score = 100)

Needed number of correct answers on third hourly = line #7 divided by five.

The make-up exam will be given during the second hour of the final exam period.

20 questions - 10 on the material from the first exam and 10 on the material from the second exam - same type of exam and level of difficulty as first two exams
This score will replace a lower score on either one of the first two exams.
Missed an exam? This will replace the zero currently recorded for the missed exam.
Low score on an exam? This will replace the low score only if your make-up exam score is higher.
Remember to bring along a formula sheet for the make-up exam if you plan to take it.
