Course Description:
Design of digital systems. Topics include flip-flops, registers, counters, programmable logic devices, memory devices, register-level design, and microcomputer system organization. Students must show competency in the design of digital systems. 3 hours lecture, 2 hours lab. Prerequisite: CEG 260.

All labs for CEG 360/560 - EE 451/651 meet during the first week of classes (even if you lab period is before the first lecture period). If you miss your assigned lab section, feel free to make it up during any of the other lab sections during the first week. If you miss a lab for any reason (including snow days, university holdiays, or the like), please attempt to attend any other normally scheduled lab section that week. Contact your TA for a make-up session if your are unable to attend another regularly scheduled lab.
