Scott Kremer: About Me
I grew up in Mercer County which is surrounded by fields and farm animals. Of course the smell goes right along with it.
There's nothing like walking on your front door step in the morning and getting a good whiff of fresh animal manure.
I also grew up with some more interesting surroundings as well which includes triplet sisters. It was interesting and
not everyone experiences that. They will obviously have there moments but it was also nice growing up with triplet
sisters three and a half years older than you. If your wondering, yes I played barbies (Ken) and let them put clips in
my hair. The clips were of course bright and beautiful. My sisters are currently all grown up and married and starting
there families. Two of them live in our hometown while the other one is in Columbus.
Mom and Dad are both currently working at Lefeld Welding Supplies and
Rental. Mom is a secretary while dad is in charge of the parts and inventory.
I am now happily married to Melinda in which we met here at Wright State University. Its ironic in that she even lived
within 15 minutes of my parents. We own a home in Saint Henry Ohio with a dog named buckeye. Our first child is also on the way!
I graduated from Wright State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.
While earning my BS I worked for CaTS here at Wright State University for all four years. Since I didn't land a job after
graduation, I worked for Bruns Building for about three months.
During that time I eventually found a position at Celina Insurance
Group as a computer programmer. I was with the Celina Insurance from August 9th, 2004 to February 16th, 2007. I
obtained my IBM Certified Application Developer in Lotus Notes and Domino 7 on February 7, 2006. In order to achieve that,
I had to pass three tests for release 6. Then about three to four months later, release 7 came out so I had to pass one more to
become up-to-date. I decided to come back to Wright State University. Now I am a Help Desk
Analyst for CaTS at Wright State University in Dayton.
There are many hobbies I like to take on. First and for most, is computer repair and web development. Sometimes I will go to
bed thinking about pieces of code I could try to get something to work. Yes I know what your all thinking, COMPUTER GEEK!!
Well, you have the right to call me that, but I dont consider myself a geek at all. Just doing what I enjoy, plus true computer
geeks code 24/7. In addition, I enjoy playing football, basketball, softball, tennis, playing fantasy football, and ATV trail
riding. I played semi-pro football in 2002 for the Miami Valley Panthers and have considered joining the Mercer County Cougars
but other items have come in the way.
“This will be the spot for my unique quote that should be about four lines long. If it's not that long then I will just need to ramble so we can see the whole image to the left of this block quote, otherwise it won't show. What a bummer I know. I am trying though.”
