Early Family Photos
No one in my immediate family had a camera or took any
pictures. And as my mother grew older, she would not
ALLOW pictures to be taken. Last week I received a letter
from my Grandfather Sark's neighbor, Mille Fitzgerald ( now
Thompson) saying that she was cleaning out her photo album and
came across some pictures that she thought I might like to
have. Oh my, did I want those pictures. I have no pictures
of Black Star, my horse or really anything else. Below are
3 of the pictures that I have scanned and repaired... holes
were torn when the pictures were removed. Such a wonderful
gift... thank you, Millie!
PS The middle picture has the Fitzgerald house in the background
and I think Millie's mother is looking out the window. The last
picture was taken in the Fitzgerald side yard. This shows the
center of Lilly Chapel, Madison County, Ohio.
