Teaching Philosophy:

First, I believe that the learni= ng process should be enjoyable...even fun. I view graduate education as a developmental and mutual process. As a professor, my goal is to provide you with the relevant information and guidance to assist you in your developmen= t as a professional psychologist. As a student, your responsibility is to engage= in the learning process and bring questions and comments to the classroom. As a graduate student, I assume that you will take responsibility for your learn= ing. This means that you are expected to critically evaluate the information presented to you in class and in your readings, to integrate this informati= on, and to challenge yourself, your peers, and the professor with your conclusi= ons and questions. Graduate education is work. Hopefully this work will also be exciting and enjoyable.
