Bio
Rana Odeh is a freelance text-editor for the American Journal of
Economics and Sociology and a Debate Forum columnist for the
Dayton City Paper. She holds a BA in English and Philosophy from the
University of Dayton. Rana is currently a graduate student in the
International and Comparative Politics program at Wright State
University.
Before starting graduate school, Rana's academic work has been awarded
a number of recognitions including a number of Dean's List awards, the
Dayton Arab American Forum award, and the Erma Bombeck Writers
award.
Rana's research and writings focus on international relations, global political economy, the
Palestinian-Israeli conflict, as well as social and public policy issues related to race, class, and
gender. Rana is also a well rounded artist with particular interests in ceramics, painting, and
print-making. Rana and her husband Fadhel live in Granville, Ohio.
