One of the technology standards is directly related to the use of e-mail by students for collaborative activities. "It includes the useage of technology tools for productivity and communication." (ODE) You will be in a group representing a state.

Your group's task is to establish benchmarks in relation to the use of e-mail for the students in third through fifth grade. Your benchmarks should reflect the state's disposition. In other words, what should 3 -5th grade students know how to do?

The states represented will be announced in class. Your group should meet away from other groups. In 30 minutes you will return to the class and share the benchmarks you established. Be sure to have a brief narrative explaing the benchmark.
