College Life at Wright State University

Most of what I did last week

Last week I went to all of my classes, then went to the library to study and read my course books and then I met up with some friends at the hanger. Stayed there for an hour, while eating Taco Bell ©. After finishing lunch depending what day it was I went to work out at the YMCA © and then I went home.

Here are some of my friends on the testing day of our first project. John Lieber and Jake Kuhner. Jake is watching over the bridge with Kumar, one of the three teacher assistants, while John is putting on the weight. I'm kneeling down trying to watch how the weight is effecting the bridge. Our bridge held 67.5 pounds.

This picture is of Jake Kuhner flying our groups airplane for a grade in the Nutter Center as Alan Shafer and I watch. Jake flew the plane around the Nutter Center 27 laps before we had to land it due to the battery was dead.

My Status

I am doing great for my first year of college so far. Fall Quarter I passed sixteen credit hours with a gpa of 3.25. For the Winter Quarter, I am taking Engineering 190, Psychology 105, and Classics 150. Engineering has shown me that classes can expect a lot of work from the students, but it can be fun at the same time. Classics 150 has brought questions about the past and how in today's society reacts and praises some civilizations rather than others. In pyschology I have learned so far that it is a boring class.

My thoughts on campus

Wright State is a very compact uninversity, all the buildings are very close to eachother and when it gets cold outside, you just go down in the basement to walk in the tunnels. College life is pretty easy here. The work load is not to hard yet. I like that I do not have the same professors everyday and I have a schedual where I am not at school all day unlike High School.
