• This database provides full-text for more than 3,400 scholarly publications covering academic areas in education, social sciences, humanities, language & linguistics, arts & literature, computer science, and ethnic studies. Though coverage varies, some publications go back to 1975. All are updated daily. Relevant journal titles include Focus on Exceptional Children, Early Years: Journal of International Research & Development, Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School, T.H.E. Journal, and Reading Teacher.

• The OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center provides access to full-text articles from over 3,000 electronic journals published by Academic Press, Elsevier Science, Johns Hopkins University Press, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Springer-Verlag, and John Wiley & Sons. Most coverage begins with 1995, though this varies by journal. Researchers in Education will be most interested in the category listing of journals in Social Sciences which includes Computers and Education, Early Childhood Research Quarterly, Educational Studies in Mathematics, Higher Education Policy, Human Movement Science, International Journal of Educational Development, Journal of Adolescence, Journal of Early Childhood Teacher Education, Journal of Memory and Language, Journal of Personnel Evaluation in Education, Journal of School Psychology, Learning & Instruction, Research in Developmental Disabilities, Teaching and Teacher Education.

• LEXIS/NEXIS is a full-text news, business, legal and court information service with more than 1.3 billion documents available. Congressional & legislative information are now found in the companion database, Congressional Universe. Current information in LEXIS/NEXIS is updated constantly; while most older material goes back around 15-20 years. Its world headquarters is located in Dayton, Ohio. This index does NOT provide much scholarly coverage, but does have very current information on the state of education. It also allows users to access hard-to-find state laws and international coverage in education. Articles & documents can be downloaded or printed at Reference workstations or home.

• is a collection of full-text journals in the social sciences & humanities including complete backfiles of articles in over 120 scholarly journals, but nothing more current than 2-5 years old. Coverage in educational literature is still sparse at this time, but more titles will be added soon. Some titles of interest to researchers include American Journal of Mathematics, Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, Journal of Educational Sociology, Journal of Health and Social Behavior, The Journal of Higher Education, Journal of Negro Education, and Sociology of Education.

• provides an international focus to women's issues, from 1992+, with full-text access to articles in journals, newspapers, alternative presses, government reports, international agencies, etc. The material is relevant and timely for researchers in education and other social science areas. Titles covered include Feminist Teacher, Journal of American College Health, Journal of Gender Studies, Journal of Social Psychology, Radical Teacher, SIECUS Report, Women in Sport & Physical Activity Journal, Women's Education--Education des femmes (Canada).

• provides a comprehensive collection of articles, reviews, editorials, etc. from 1985+, in newspapers, magazines, newsletters, journals from ethnic, minority, and native presses not well-covered in the mainstream media. This database offers a broad diversity of perspectives & viewpoints. Both English & Spanish language search options are available for researchers.
