This database provides full-text for more than 3,400 scholarly
publications covering academic areas in education, social sciences,
humanities, language & linguistics, arts & literature, computer science,
and ethnic studies. Though coverage varies, some publications go back to
1975. All are updated daily. Relevant journal titles include Focus on
Exceptional Children, Early Years: Journal of International
Research & Development, Mathematics Teaching in the Middle
School, T.H.E. Journal, and Reading Teacher.

The OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center provides
access to full-text articles from over 3,000 electronic journals published by Academic Press,
Elsevier Science, Johns Hopkins University Press, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Springer-Verlag,
and John Wiley & Sons. Most coverage begins with 1995, though this varies by journal.
Researchers in Education will be most interested in the category listing of journals in Social
Sciences which includes Computers and
Education, Early Childhood Research Quarterly,

than 1.3 billion documents available. Congressional & legislative information are now found in
the companion database, Congressional
Universe. Current information in LEXIS/NEXIS is updated constantly; while most older
material goes back around 15-20 years. Its world headquarters is located in Dayton, Ohio. This
index does NOT provide much scholarly coverage, but does have very current information on the
state of education. It also allows users to access hard-to-find state laws and international
coverage in education. Articles & documents can be downloaded or printed at Reference
workstations or home.
