Grading Policy:

The student's grade will be earned based on two examinations, two quizzes and one project. All students are required to take the two exams when scheduled. Any changes in the schedule will be announced in class. If the student is unable to take the exam at the scheduled time, permission must be secured BEFORE the scheduled exam time. If this condition is not met, a zero can be given for the missed exam.

Attendance and class participation are strongly encouraged because the material presented in class is cumulative in nature. Students are responsible for all material covered in lectures, the text and other assignments. The project will be due the last class before the final. Any late projects will be penalized one letter grade.

A sample test as well as sample projects are on reserve at the library and on-line on Libnet. The password is MS201.
