Caterpillars and Parasitoids of the Eastern Andes in Ecuador

Caterpillars and Parasitoids of the Eastern Andes in Ecuador is a project dedicated to the inventory and dissemination of information on lepidopteran larvae, host plants, and parasitoids. The project provides valuable material for future morphological and molecular based systematic work and advances our understanding of local and global biodiversity. We also collect and identify all host plants, resulting in a thorough survey of tritrophic interactions in this diverse region. The project is funded by Earthwatch, the National Science Foundation, National Geographic, and personal funds.
