Large "typical" looking grayish tachinid. Much like a Lespesi except 3 katepistornal bristles and very large stout facial bristles. Bright gold parafacial (bare). Yellow Gold pollen on T4 and T5, especially T5. Abdomen globose like a microtypo layer. Marginals on 1,2,3,4; one discal on T4?
