A strikingly marked tachinid. Dark markings on wings appear different from specimens in USNM (G. Gentry pers. communication) - may be diferent species or geographic variant (type specimens from Bolivia).

Length: Photographed specimen 7.45 mm, other specimens 6.4 mm, 7.3 mm, 7.2 mm.
