COURSE OBJECTIVES:

METHODOLOGY:  The course framework will be a combination of lecture about E-business strategies and  lab in designing and creating e-business solutions.  The students will complete workshop exercises using the tools discussed in class.  The results of these exercises will be due during the quarter.

Note:  PowerPoint slides are at the web site, http://wisdom.wright.edu/.   Log on using your Wright State mail username and password.   The slides do not reflect all that is covered in class.  Essay questions often reflect exercises, discussion from class not referenced on the slides.  It is important to attend class to get this information.  Also, it is recommended you print the slides before class and take notes on them.

PROJECT:  A individual student project will be to create an e-business solution for a fictitious company or business.  Certain types of pages will be required for the site and will correspond to the exercises we have done in class.  Details of this will be given during the quarter

EXAMS:  Materials included in the exams will be taken from the texts, article reviews and class lecture/discussions.  There will also be a hands-on exam of topics covered in the lab using Dreamweaver CS3. The average of all exams will comprise 55% of your grade. The lecture exams will be a combination of essay and multiple choice. All multiple choice exams will be given using WebCT. The WebCT portion of the exam will be done first. Then the computer must be turn off before a copy of the essay portion will be given to the student. Unannounced quizzes may be given during the quarter. No make-up quizzes will be given.
