Ed Crowder, a fellow classmate of passed away Friday, Jan 5, 2001 in the
Community Hospital, Springfield from a heart attack.

Ed served in the Air Force during Vietnam.  He spent his career in law
enforcement:  two years as a law enforcement officer with the Clark County
Sheriff's Department and 15 years with the Beavercreek Police Department,
retiring at the rank of lieutenant in 1989.  He most recently worked as a
Security Officer at Beavercreek High School.    He is survived by his wife of
seven years, Tracy (Bourdon) Crowder; a daughter, Alexis Crowder at home; his
mother, Ruth Crowder of Fairborn; and a brother, Raymond Crowder of Fairborn.
 
The family will receive visitors Tuesday, 9 Jan, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the
Belton Funeral Home, Fairborn, where funeral services will be conducted
Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Bocook officiating.  Burial will be in the
Fairfield Cemetery, Fairborn.  Memorial contributions may be made to the
Trust for Alexia Crowder, c/o any Firstar Bank.
