The Orchestra, based at Wright State University, is dedicated to enhancing the appreciation and understanding of orchestral music in Dayton, Ohio and surrounding communities. We provide an opportunity for students, amateur, professional and semi-professional musicians to learn, play, and perform music for others. Through this shared experience musicians enrich their lives with satisfaction and the joy of making music together.
The orchestra performs at least three concerts per year, usually in November, March, and June. At least one of these features works with talented musicians from the area.
