Sailing at Wright State University Lake Campus

Our recently acquired Catalina-22

The photo resembles our recently acquired sailboat.  With its weighted centerboard, a “cat-22” is well suited to this lake.  If you see a large sailboat on Grand Lake, there is a good chance it is one these boats.  Would you like to sail it for a fraction of the cost of actually owning one?

Summer Sailing Classes

We plan to repeat our summer school sailing course again.  You don’t need to be a full-time student or take any other courses here to qualify.

Visit the WSU-Lake HOMEPAGE and/or link to FUTURE STUDENTS to learn how to enroll. (Enrollment will probably begin late Spring.)

We need sailors and we need boat-builders!

Whether you are full of enthusiasm and ideas about sailing and/or amateur boatbuilding, or a mildly interested observer who wants to add you name to the list of people who want to see a strong and healthy Sailing&Boatbuilding club on Grand Lake … WE NEED YOU.  Please contact either Guy Vandegrift at guy.vandegr@wright.edu or Jim Seinberg at james.steinberg@wright.edu .
