We are a downtown church by location, but our members come from all parts of
the area and from many walks of life. We respect different lifestyles and
viewpoints, and you'll find us a warm, welcoming and inviting congregation!
First Baptist Church of Dayton was founded on May 29, 1824. We cooperate and
maintain fellowship with American Baptist Churches/USA, an ethnically diverse
denomination. We also share a strong sense of mission and participate
ecumenically with other churches.
