My laboratory is furnished with modern molecular biology equipment, including various centrifuges (low & high speed, and micro), PCR systems, spectropho-tometer, electrophoresis equipment for nucleic acid and protein work, gel documentation system, DNA dryer, hybridization oven, gel dryer, chemical fume hood, digital balance, water purification system, PC and Macintosh computers, and other items. |

As a virology research laboratory, we rely heavily on tissue culture to perform our experiments at biosafety level 2. We are equipped with Baker and Nuaire biological safety cabinets, Espec and Napco incubators, Zeiss and Olympus inverted phase and upright light/fluorescent microscopes, microplate reader, centrifuges, liquid nitrogen cryogenic tanks, and other miscellaneous equipment.
