Dave Whalen joined the Wright State Research Institute in April of 2009 as Senior Operations Research Analyst on a newly awarded contract supporting AFRL. Through December 2011, he supported Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis efforts including scenario development, data analysis, and project management. In addition to MS&A support, Dave assisted with various Management Analysis Tasks including the creation, development, and maintenance of WSRI's database and infrastructure for Project Management and Engagement Control. Since January 2012, he has shifted to Business Operations support. Activities in Business Operations include providing financial and resource analysis and support to the Associate Director of WSRI, as well as proposal and project budgeting support. Prior to joining WSRI, Dave worked for a major aerospace company where he established himself as a subject matter expert in scenario development and analysis support with one of the simulation architectures. Dave also supported the Department of Defense as a co-op, where he assisted in the management and execution of micro-purchasing for a materials laboratory. In 2006, Dave graduated with his undergraduate degree from WSU's College of Mathematics and Science with a Statistics concentration and minor in Business Economics. In the Fall of 2012, Dave began his Maters's degree in Public Administration.
