Responsible for scheduling, consulting, and implementing all studio, field, and post production for students, staff, faculty and outside clients. Instruct and assist students, staff and faculty concerning video and distance learning projects. Serve as a producer, director, editor and talent for specific projects. Responsible for the operation of the television studios, Nutter Center video boards, distance learning classroom and instructional edit suites. Develop and program the cable station, Channel 25, Wright State’s informational channel. Supervise, schedule and train 1 part-time production technician and 9 student production assistants.

January 1992 to January 1997 - Broadcast Journalist/Public Affairs Specialist, United States Army.

3rd Psychological Operations Battalion, Ft. Bragg, NC - July 1995 to January 1998.

Media Department Manager: Managed an office of 14 television production technicians.

Produced video and audio products for worldwide campaigns. Managed media production center for the United Nations Military Information Support Task Force in Haiti from December 1995 to March 1996.

American Forces Network, Kaiserslautern, GE - June 1992 to June 1995.

Broadcast Journalist: Responsible for both television and radio news production.

Anchored, reported, produced, shot, and edited news and information products for 100,000 Americans in Germany. Script writer for news and advertisements. Instructed and trained all new personnel on station operations.

August 1991 to January 1992 - Cox Cable, Omaha, NE.

Video Production Specialist: Produced, shot, and directed commercial products, live sports and political productions. Created and produced PSA’s for various organizations.

March 1990 to May 1991 - KETV ABC, Omaha, NE.

News Production Assistant: Designed graphics for newscasts and commercial productions. Directed news briefs and newscast pre-productions. Assisted community affairs as set director and photographer.

September 1989 to June 1991 - KYNE PBS, Omaha, NE.
