My Story
·
I was born at West Point Military Academy on July 10, 1966.
·
My father was in the Air Force so I
traveled a lot. Some of the places that
I lived where: Texas,
Florida,
Ohio,
England,
Nebraska
and Crete.
·
I graduated high school in 1984 from London Central H.S. in High Wycombe, England.
·
I then moved to Omaha, Nebraska
and received a B.A. in Radio/Television Broadcasting Production from the University of
Nebraska at Omaha in 1990. I also got married that
year to Wendi Dillon.
·
After working in the Omaha television market for a
couple of years, I joined the Army as a 46R, Broadcast Journalist. I received my military basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky and
went on to military broadcasting school at the Defensive Information School, which at
that time was at Fort
Benjamin
Harrison,
Indiana.
·
After 3 years working in Europe
at AFN Kaiserslautern, I spent my remaining 2 years in the 3rd
Psychological Operations Battalion at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
·
Finally in January of 1997, I decided
to get out of the Army and I moved to Dayton, Ohio, where I took a job at Wright State University as TV/Video
Production Manager.
