2008-2009 Team Highlights

Amma Boakye was named the GWOC player of the year.

All four Northmont varsity players were named all-conference in the GWOC (Amma and Brandon - 1st Team, Michael - 2nd team, Miranda - honorable mention).

  • Three players (Brandon Williams, Michael Czupryn, and Amma Boakye) have placed in the top ten among individual scorers at NAQT events this year
  • The team's performance at the Tippecanoe NAQT Tournament earned us our second consecutive NAQT national championship bid
  • The team's performance at the Ohio State University Tournament earned us our second consecutive PACE national championship bid
  • The team's performance at the JCOWA regional event at the University of Dayton earned us a trip to Washington D.C. to represent Ohio at the national competition
  • Miami University Tournament Champion
  • Ohio State University, Solon NAQT, Poland - undefeated preliminary performances
