Random Stuff About Campus Life
The best part of living on campus is not having to go anywhere. I can walk to everything I need, and if I want to I can just sit around and not do anything. The lack of pressure is definitely a plus, stressed out people definitely aren't fun to be around. Another great part of the campus is the Student Union. They have food, a bookstore, racquetball, and best of all a climbing wall. I mean where else can you find an indoor climbing wall and food in the same building?
What I did Last Week
Warning the following section is incredibly boring. If you are going to continue reading please insure that you are sitting or lying down as it may cause a severe case of snoring.
On Monday I want to my Egr-101 lab and built circuits with a breadboard. After that I went to the Egr-101 lecture and listened to Dr. Garber explain derivatives. Then I got food and worked on homework. On Tuesday I went to my Egr-190 Instrumentation Lab and took my first exam on SolidWorks, and moments. At 10:25 I went to Eng-101 in the basement of Millet for English. Then I got food from the Hanger and headed back to my dorm room. Wednesday, Egr-190 computer lab for more web design, another session of Egr-101 with Dr. Garber, and climbing to the fourth floor of Millet for Egr-101 recitation, eating and the climbing wall followed that. Thursday, my only class is English so I got to sleep in; we worked on peer review and summarizing articles. On Friday the day started with Egr-190 Fundamentals of Engineering and Computer Science, we watched part of “An Inconvenient Truth” and learned more about breadboards. Following that I went to Egr-101 for more derivatives and integration. I went to the EE office to get popcorn before going to UH-101 and reading the honors student handbook. Saturday and Sunday were filled with sleeping late and playing videogames with friends. That was my entire week, if you’re still reading this you need to get a hobby.
