MIS710 Projects

A half-quarter-long team project will be a required part of this course. In this project, you will need to develop a fully functional prototype of a database application for a fictitious or real-world client. Teams will be formed by the mid-point of the course, and will consist of 2-3 students. You will not have the option to work alone. Two major milestones will be used for the deliverables for the project:

1. Design: See the schedule page for due date. In this milestone, you will need to turn in a writeup containing the complete set of requirements for your project, and your design documents including the conceptual models (ER), data flow models (DFD), and schema design.
2. Implementation: Due by the end of the quarter, this will include the complete implementation of your prototype. The system must be developed using JSP, and demonstrated during the final class week.
