Implementation of Adam

Adam is implemented using Java. The present version of Adam implements all the proposed heuristics excluding those requiring access to the actual table data. To run Adam, you will need to first install XP - an XML Parser by James Clark. You can download Adam in a number of different methods as presented below.

Binary distribution Download the smallest version of Adam which includes only the basic dictionary, jar'ed class files and some sample data files. (Download Adam.zip - 144K).
Source distribution Download this distribution if you want to see the source code of Adam. This distribution also includes the basic dictionary, all Java source, and some data files. (Download Adam-src.zip - 137k.)
Full distribution Download the complete Adam distribution including both the basic and extended dictionaries. (Note that the extended dictionary is currently implemented in Microsoft Access, so will only run in the Windows platform). A future release will have support for Oracle and other database servers. (Download Adam-full.zip - 2.6M).
