The Wright State University (WSU) Network consists of electronic devices, hardware, software, data, and information resources. The Network includes all of the communication cabling and radio airspace, computer and network hardware, operating systems, data, application software, and any stored electronic media utilized to facilitate access to or provide information from the Wright State University Intranet and global Internet.

1. The associate director of the Department of Computing and Telecommunications Services/Network Services must approve all connections to the WSU Network. All connections to external networks will pass through approved firewalls or other perimeter control security systems.
2. To secure approval for a connection to the WSU Network, an applicant should contact the Department of Computing and Telecommunications Services (CaTS) Help Desk by visiting 025 Library Annex, calling (937) 775-4827, or by sending e-mail to helpdesk@wright.edu.
