1) Web Visitor Survey results. Results are online at http://www.wright.edu/web/stats/2) Web redesign update. Changes have been made to the second-level banners (included name of page and picture within banner), and we're working to replace all the "green people" banners. If your area needs a new banner, please send me e-mail with the URL, and we'll send you a standard banner or we can work with you to design a customized banner.
3) College/Degree Requirements are online at http://www.wright.edu/academics/catalog/requirements/ and are now linked from the "more about majors" pages, which are linked from the Majors page at http://www.wright.edu/majors/
Any requests for changes or additions to these "more about majors" pages should be directed to jennifer.rice@wright.edu
4) Our Web inquiries function, which provided an online form for comments regarding Web pages, will be changed to webmaster@wright.edu. This address and the webmaster@wright.edu will begin being forwarded to helpdesk@wright.edu after the first of the year. The Help Desk staff will answer all questions they can, and they'll forward others to the Web Team staff.
5) Upcoming projects
* admissions video clips on the Web
* revision/redesign of Student Life site
* Dialogue online -- possibly. Will know in January. Target date is Feb.
6) ROX Updates
* Online registration should be live by end of December.
* Target date for online tuition/fees payment end Jan./beginning of Feb. for spring registration. Watch for announcements.
7) Updates from other areas.
* SOM -- will begin looking at ideas for replacing existing banners. * COLA -- just completed redesign of English site.
* Library -- will be interviewing 4 candidates in January for University Librarian. Information will be sent via faculty and staff listservs regarding open sessions. Resumes are posted on the library's site under "Course Reserves."
The library has posted a new 1903 Flyer Web site at http://www.libraries.wright.edu/special/1903/
* CEHS -- Jeff Dabney and staff continue to add Web sites for their various academic programs.
* IDTL -- Added a bulletin board service, using Ultimate Bulletin Board, but so far, no traffic! FYI ... Ultimate BB has a difficult setup procedure for UNIX.
* COSM -- Dean has hired Shirley McKee to assist with updates and redesigns of the COSM Web pages and departmental sites.
