Primary Wright State University Marks

University Mark
The new university mark, officially adopted in 1998, depicts the first
flight by the Wright brothers, for whom the university is named. It
replaces the seal as the primary mark.

Word Mark
The word mark comprises the name "Wright State University"
in the approved customized design without the Wright flyer graphic.

Seal
Formerly used as Wright State's primary mark, the seal is now
reserved for official uses.

Athletic Mark
The official Wright State athletic mascot, Rowdy Wolf, was unveiled
in 1997 to represent the Wright State Raiders athletic teams.
Children's
Athletic Mark
Derived from the primary athletic mark, the children's athletic mark
depicts a wolf cub for children's apparel and spirit items.

Secondary Mark
New Athletic secondary mark
introduced in fall of 2002.
WSU
Alumni Association Mark
Adopted in 1999, this new mark consists of the acronym "WSU"
along with "Alumni Association" in the approved design illustrated
here.
