Third Level Style Sheet Definitions

This page details Wright State University's third level style sheet. Each code fragment is followed by an explanation of what it does and/or how it can be used on a Web page.

Many of these style definitions are redundant to ensure compatibility across the major browsers. The most recent style definition read by the browser overrides previous style definitions for properties that have changed.

Below is the WSU Third Level style sheet.

Generic Style Classes

A variety of generic classes are available for modifying a tag through use of the class attribute. You can even apply style to entire blocks of code by using the <div> tag. These classes are declared with a period in the style sheet, but when used within an HTML tag, the period is ommitted.

Example:

<p class="indented">Hello World!</p>
