The Woods
The Woods Residential Community is located a short walk from the academic core of campus. It comprises nine, brick, four-story dormitory-style buildings. Its close proximity to a large, surrounding wooded area gives it its name and beautifies the area in all seasons. This particular view shows a wide, recessed grassy area between four of the buildings. Within this area is a double basketball court, volleyball court, picnic tables and barbecue grills, and a contemporary, wooden gazebo that offers an outdoor space for a break in study or a quiet place to pause. The Woods is the largest of five residential communities on campus with each building appropriately named after a tree.
