TV Center, Fawcett Hall and Dunbar Library

Fawcett Hall is one of the original four buildings at Wright State. Its slim, narrow windows, which begin on the second floor, rise the full height of the building making it appear lofty and adding interest to the simple brick construction. To the left of Fawcett Hall is the Paul Laurence Dunbar Library. Windows of varying widths span nearly the entire length of the west and north sides and provide plenty of natural sunlight for study. A passageway under the second story leads directly to the Creative Arts Center. To the left of the Library is the Television Center. The white satellite dish on top of the flat roof of the first story is a clue to the activities conducted inside. The nearly windowless building, looking much like a reclining "L," has a rough textured surface, quite different from the predominately brick buildings on campus. Millet Hall can be seen from the side and to the left of the TV Center. It is similar in design to Fawcett Hall and at one time held the campus library collection.
