Student Union
The Student Union is located at the southwestern end of campus and is the largest building on campus. The simple brick exterior of this three-story building is dressed up with the addition of white grill-work. At the entrance, the grill-work is thick and chunky-looking and doubles as a canopy, projecting well beyond the actual glass entry doors. This design is continued to the left. However, here on the face of the building, the grill-work is thinner, each rectangular compartment framing two windows. This white grid is not attached flush to the wall, but instead projects out beyond it and, depending upon the time of day, creates interesting shadowy lines on the brick. At the extreme left, the grill-work extends beyond the building, becoming a separate entity.
