Wright State UniveristyVirtual Tour - Text DescriptionsBrehm Laboratory and Mathematical and Microbiological Sciences Building This building houses the Mathematics and Statistics Department as well as the Microbiology and Immunology Department. Its brick construction is typical of others at Wright State. However, the open "plus sign" that overlays the entrance, along with the interplay of open and closed geometric shapes seen as part of the architecture, is unique and appropriate for the subject matter taught inside. Adjacent and to the right is the Brehm Laboratory. Although smaller in area than the Mathematical Building, its taller height draws attention. The entry door is dwarfed by a large rise of frosted glass to its right and is punctuated by an interesting addition of a circular window hovering over it. |
