Allyn, Oelman and Trustees Plaza
Standing in this open, stone-paved plaza called Trustees Plaza, three important buildings can be seen: straight ahead is Allyn Hall (home of the College of Education and Human Services and administration personnel), to the right is Millet Hall (home to many departments including English and Foreign Languages), and to the left is Oelman Hall (home of the Chemistry Department). These three multi-story buildings all complement each other with their geometric design and brick exterior. A single story extension of Allyn Hall offers an interesting contrast to the other three buildings. This wing has a gray facing sheltered by a deep, white porch created by a prominent overhanging roof. The roof is supported by slender pillars with connecting arches in between them. An open fountain and flag pole marks the mid-point between these buildings.
