Instructions and Tips for Using the Tour
Note: The tours take an average of 50 seconds each to download using a
56.6 modem. To bypass tours and get information on various buildings on campus,
go to the Campus Map Web site.
As you roll your mouse over the small, orange squares on the campus map, you will
see the green banner (top right) change to show the name of each of the tours.
Click on one of the squares to open a tour. The tour file will open in a new window
as shown in the diagram to the right. You may also get to the tours from the links
at the bottom of the page.
After the tour downloads, click and drag your mouse to the right or left within
the frame of the tour to move about within the tour.
 See
a picture and get information about the buildings on each tour from the links
beneath the tour. The Web page will open in a new window.
By using the plus (+) and minus (-) symbols on the tour tool bar (see image
to right), you can increase or decrease the size of the tour.
By double clicking on the question mark (?) symbol, you will see links highlighted
within the tour. These links will open additional tours or Web sites within the
same window.
The arrow in the green circle serves as a compass; a green "N" will
appear when you are facing North.
Each tour Web page includes a link to a text description of the tour. This Web
page will open in a new window.
